Suicide cases are not stopping in coaching hub Kota. Now again a similar news has surfaced again. Here a JEE student (JEE Student Jump From Balcony) committed suicide by jumping from the sixth floor of the hostel. The student was a resident of Anuppur, Madhya Pradesh. The incident took place at 3 am on Saturday in Old Rajiv Gandhi Nagar area. The student first cut the net installed in the balcony. Then jumped from a height of 70 feet.
As soon as the student fell, a sound came from the room. Hearing the sound, the hostel management as well as other students woke up. Saw that the student was lying face down on the floor. A lot of blood was flowing from his body. Immediately after the incident, the hostel operator took the student to a private hospital. But the student had died by then. After this, as soon as the information was received, police and FSL team also reached the spot.
What did DSP say in the matter?
In this case, DSP Yogesh Sharma said – 18 year old student Vivek Kumar, son of Indradev Kumar has committed suicide. At present the body has been sent for post-mortem. His colleagues and the hostel operator are being interrogated. All the evidence has been collected from the incident spot.
Vivek came to Kota in April this year
Police searched the student’s room in the hostel on Saturday morning. Parents have also been informed about the incident. They have left for Kota. The student had come to Kota from Madhya Pradesh in April this year. Ever since the family heard the news of their son’s death, they are in shock. He is unable to understand why his son took such a big step. At present investigation is going on in the matter. Awaiting the post mortem report.
