Akhilesh Yadav is attacking Congress with the same weapon that India was making against BJP. – Khel Ja

To create an atmosphere against BJP, the opposition alliance ‘INDIA’ is trying to turn the caste census into a political weapon. Now regarding this, Rahul Gandhi is attacking BJP and Modi government in Madhya Pradesh, while SP chief Akhilesh Yadav is attacking Congress. Amidst the demand for caste census being conducted by the Congress, Akhilesh has raised the question as to why the previous Congress led governments did not conduct the caste census while in power. Not only this, Akhilesh is busy calling Congress and BJP as two sides of the same coin and both are anti-OBC. In such a situation, the question arises that what is going on in Akhilesh’s mind regarding the INDIA alliance?

While addressing an election rally in Madhya Pradesh, Rahul Gandhi targeted BJP on the issue of OBC. During this, he had said that the caste census will be like an ‘X-ray’, which will give complete details of different communities. In this way, Rahul is trying to put Shivraj government and BJP in the anti-OBC dock. Taking a dig at Rahul Gandhi’s ‘X-ray’ comment on caste enumeration, Akhilesh Yadav raised the question that the previous Congress governments did not take any action on this due to their faulty policies?

‘Congress’s demand for caste census is a big miracle’

Akhilesh Yadav said that when Congress was in power, this problem could have been solved at that time. If the X-ray had been done at that time, the problem would not have increased. He said that now MRI and CT scan is needed because the disease has progressed. The SP leader said that Congress’s demand for caste census is the biggest ‘miracle’, because this is the same party which did not conduct caste census after independence. He said that whenever political parties raised the demand for caste census, Congress itself had refused to do so. Congress is demanding caste census because its own core vote bank is no longer with it.

Rift between SP and Congress!

The way SP chief Akhilesh Yadav is continuously attacking Congress in the Madhya Pradesh assembly elections. Akhilesh is trying to put Congress in the dock on the issue of caste census being raised by Rahul Gandhi, due to which the rift between SP and Congress has come to the fore. Even though Congress is not responding to SP’s attack, the sourness in their friendship over seat sharing is now worsening their relationship day by day. Its impact may not only be on Madhya Pradesh but also on the 2024 Lok Sabha elections in Uttar Pradesh.

28 parties included in ‘INDIA’ alliance

Let us tell you that to stop BJP and PM Modi from achieving the hat-trick of power in 2024, 28 opposition parties had formed ‘INDIA’ alliance. A resolution to conduct caste census was also passed in the meeting of opposition alliance INDIA. Meanwhile, when Modi government brought women’s reservation bill in Parliament, Congress supported it, but at the same time raised the demand for OBC quota. From Rahul to Sonia Gandhi, they started setting the narrative of caste census by demanding OBC quota in women’s reservation.

At the same time, Chief Minister Nitish Kumar not only conducted economic and educational survey along with caste census in Bihar and made the report public but also got a bill passed in the Assembly to increase the 50 percent limit of reservation. Nitish government has now increased the 50 percent reservation limit in Bihar to 65 percent. With this, 10 percent EWS has now made 75 percent reservation in Bihar. In Bihar, Congress is also an ally of the Nitish-led Grand Alliance government and is busy taking its credit.

From Rahul Gandhi to Priyanka Gandhi, in every rally they are trying to corner BJP and Modi government on the issue of caste census, while Akhilesh Yadav is cornering Congress in Madhya Pradesh. Not only this, Congress is being blamed as the real culprit for not having caste census in the country. It is clear from Akhilesh’s political attitude that whether SP and Congress will contest the elections together in the 2024 Lok Sabha elections, because the way the attacks from SP are continuing, the relations are worsening instead of improving.

No coordination in ‘INDIA’ alliance!

Congress is already not seeing good coordination with Aam Aadmi Party and the picture with Mamata Banerjee is not clear. The hopes and expectations with which Nitish Kumar had left BJP and joined the Grand Alliance do not seem to be being fulfilled. Congress neither made him the convenor of the opposition alliance INDIA nor declared him the face of the post of Prime Minister. Congress is waiting for the election results of five states, after which it will open its cards for the 2024 Lok Sabha elections. In such a situation, everyone from SP to Kejriwal is in a wait and watch mood, but are not holding back from attacking?
