Ajit Pawar’s sixer on the political pitch of Maharashtra! Know who dominates whom in seat sharing

With the nominations in Maharashtra on Tuesday, the tension and suspense over seats also ended. After the nominations were over, the picture became clear as to which party is contesting on how many seats. This might have happened for the first time in the electoral history of Maharashtra. Well, the latest update after the end of nominations is that BJP is contesting maximum 152 seats in Mahayuti. From his own account he has given 4 seats to his younger associates.

Eknath Shinde’s Shiv Sena has fielded candidates on 85 seats while Ajit Pawar faction has 52 candidates in the fray. This figure becomes 289 seats. You must be wondering that if the total number of seats in the Assembly is 288, then how did one seat become moreā€¦ Actually, Nawab Malik, who is fighting from Ajit Pawar’s party, has filled two nomination forms, hence this figure is one more. A similar situation exists in Maha Vikas Aghadi also.

Congress has maximum seats in Maha Vikas Aghadi

In Maha Vikas Aghadi, Congress has fielded its candidates on maximum 102 seats. 89 candidates from Uddhav group and 87 candidates from Sharad Pawar group have filed nominations while 13 seats have been given to allies. In this context, the total number of seats in Maha Vikas Aghadi is 291. In fact, the parties of this alliance have come face to face on 3 seats. This means that more candidates were fielded than the number of seats on which the alliance was decided, hence the figure of 288 reached 291.

The last date for withdrawal of nomination is 4th November. Parties have time till November 4 to convince alliance partners and angry leaders. The final figures will be revealed on November 5 when these nominations will be withdrawn. Overall, the suspense of some seats remained intact.

Ajit Pawar’s sixer in the last ‘hour’!

Ajit Pawar hit a political sixer in the last moment of nomination. The clock is also the election symbol of his party. NCP surprised everyone by fielding Nawab Malik from Mankhurd Shivaji Nagar at the last moment. Last time, Abu Azmi of Samajwadi Party had won from here. Meaning there is competition between two powerful leaders on this seat. This is the same Nawab Malik who was once considered close to Ajit’s uncle Sharad Pawar. Now he has changed sides.

Now the question is why Nawab Malik, who won in 2019, left his seat Anushakti Nagar and stood against Abu Azmi. So let us tell you that Nawab Malik’s daughter Sana Malik is contesting the elections from her father’s seat Anushakti Nagar on the ticket of Ajit Pawar faction. When Sana’s name was announced, it was discussed that Ajit Pawar distanced himself from Nawab Malik under the pressure of BJP, but after the nomination it became clear that NCP had done this as a strategy.

Another twist in the fight between Abu Azmi vs Nawab Malik

Sharad Pawar’s NCP has fielded actress Swara Bhaskar’s husband Fahad Ahmed against Sana Malik. Fahad Ahmed is a Samajwadi Party leader who is close to Abu Azmi. Meaning, Samajwadi Party leaders are standing against Nawab Malik’s daughter on the ticket of Sharad Pawar’s party. So now Sana’s father Nawab Malik himself has come into the fray against Samajwadi Party’s Abu Azmi.

Now the question is whether he has come before Abu Azmi to take revenge for his daughter. Only they can answer this, but it is certain that the political fight between two big leaders of the Muslim community is going on openly in Maharashtra. People are also saying that it was Abu Azmi who got his party’s Fahad Ahmed from Sharad faction ticket against Nawab Malik’s daughter, due to which Nawab Malik got angry.

BJP also uncomfortable with Ajit Pawar’s move

By the way, this move of Ajit Pawar has made BJP also uncomfortable. The party has made it clear that it will not campaign for him. Maharashtra BJP leader Ashish Shelar said that BJP’s role regarding the candidature of Nawab Malik is very clear, that it will not campaign for BJP.
