Results of Maharashtra Assembly elections are coming today. Victory and defeat have been declared on many seats. Counting is still going on at many places. The grand alliance (BJP, Shiv Sena ‘Eknath Shinde’, NCP ‘Ajit Pawar’) seems to be winning more than 220 seats. This is a historic victory for BJP and its allies. On the election results, Ajit Pawar said, whatever mistakes we made in the Lok Sabha, we tried to correct them. We started some plans. There was also Ladli Behan Yojana in it, which proved to be decisive. Ever since I have been in politics, I have never seen any alliance getting more than 200 seats in the state. Our opposition parties were defeated in this election.

Ajit said, as we looked at the figures and called Devendra and said that we have to do a lot of work. We have the support of the central government, this is a big support. Today many people are raising questions on EVMs regarding these results. These are the same people who were happy in the Lok Sabha elections. There is no area of the state where we have been disappointed.
He said, counting of votes is still going on at many places. Our seats can increase further. We will have to work a lot for the people because the people have given such a big victory. We will live up to the trust that the public has shown. I want to assure the people that we will take the state forward.

Devendra Fadnavis said, I have expressed my views just a little while ago. I bow before the people of the state. This victory is a victory that increases our responsibility. The public has expressed confidence in PA Modi. We will maintain the public trust.
Eknath Shinde said, today is a historic day for Maharashtra. You have been watching elections for the last many years but this election was taken into the hands of the people. This is a historic victory. People have showered love and votes on us. People have expressed a lot of love for Ladli Behan Yojana and Ladla Kisan Yojana. For this I express my gratitude to the public.
we worked for everyone
He said, we have done a lot of work in the last two and a quarter years. The decisions we took were never taken before. We started the works which Mahavikas Aghadi had stopped. We had said in the elections that the entire state should develop and everyone should get benefits. We did welfare works like Atal Setu, Metro. From which we also got benefit.

Shinde said, we worked for the elderly. Worked for the farmers. We have also given compensation of Rs 15 thousand crores to the farmers. Our aim is to take the state forward. We kept getting help for this from the central government. People kept accusing us that we were distributing rabris. We faced these allegations. Sisters got the benefits of schemes like Ladli Behan Yojana. We also simplified its process. Due to which people were assured that this is a government which works and not just talks.
People expressed confidence in PM Modi
He said, this is the government of the common people. People believe in this. We want to work for the common man and make him a superman. The opposition had run a fake narrative in the Lok Sabha elections. Despite this, people expressed confidence in PM Modi and made him PM again. Ever since we came to power, these people were talking about the fall of the government. We never accused anyone. We responded with our work. We are people living among the people.
Shinde said, workers feel good at people’s doorsteps and not at home. People did not like the fact that the government which should have been formed in 2019 was not formed. Then people decided who belonged to Shiv Sena and NCP… Devendra and Ajit laughed heartily at Shinde’s statement.
He said, we worked together in this election. Modi ji had appealed to come together for development, people tried to misinterpret it, those who tried to do so have got the answer. Shinde said this on PM Modi’s slogan ‘If we are one then we are safe’.
