Although a dog is the most loyal animal, a painful incident of how dangerous a dog called human friendly can be has been seen in Jharkhand. A ferocious dog attacked a 6 month old girl sleeping inside the house in West Singhbhum district. The girl was so badly injured in the dog attack that she died before she could be taken to the hospital. The entire family is in shock due to the death of the child.
This heart-rending incident happened when the parents of the girl had left the house to work after leaving her alone to sleep. Meanwhile, a stray dog entered the house and attacked the innocent girl. This entire incident happened in Gopipur village under Mohanpur police station area of the district. The mother of the deceased girl, Vinita, and her father had gone out of the house after feeding the girl and putting her to sleep.
The innocent girl was sleeping alone in the house when a stray dog found a way to enter the house. The dog was looking for something to eat and at that very moment he saw the innocent girl and attacked her. The dog bit the girl several times with its sharp teeth. Due to which many serious wounds were formed on her body. When the neighbors got to know about this attack of the dog, they immediately chased the dog out of the house without any delay.
When the neighbours went inside after chasing away the dog, they found the 6-month-old child lying soaked in blood. The neighbours immediately took the blood-soaked child to the hospital but the wounds on his body were so deep that he could not be saved. The child died while being taken to the hospital. Local people have expressed concern over the death of the child in a stray dog attack. Local people have demanded the administration to control stray dogs.
