Celina Jaitly has shared an emotional social media post talking about her trauma, healing and the pain of being separated from her children. Posting an emotional throwback video with her sons, the actress opened up about the invisible scars left by difficult experiences and how healing is often an ongoing journey rather than a destination. Celina and her husband Peter Haag are currently involved in custody, defamation and divorce battle in India and Austria.
Celina Jaitly misses her sons
Celina Jaitly took to Instagram to share an old video of herself spending time with her sons during happier days.
The clip was accompanied by a text overlay that reflected her longing to reunite with her children. It read, “I never thought broken pieces could be shattered until I saw my heart. Miss you, my 3 sons. I wait for divine intervention to have you 3 back again in my life.”
Alongside the video, penned a lengthy note about how trauma has shaped her life and the constant effort it takes to heal from emotional pain. She began by challenging the common belief that suffering automatically makes people stronger. “The strongest people are usually the ones who are still breaking. People call me strong. But pain & trauma did not make me strong. They broke me, over & over again, until I had no choice but to learn how to heal myself,” she wrote.

The actress explained that healing is not a one-time process. According to her, even after believing she has regained her balance, painful memories often return unexpectedly, reopening old emotional wounds. She described how, during such moments, she chooses to step away from the noise around her and focus on surviving the pain rather than escaping it. By giving herself space, she gradually gathers the broken pieces of herself and begins the healing process all over again.
Celina further added that trauma had taken away parts of her identity and left behind scars that remain invisible to others. She shared that while people often credit her resilience to the hardships she has endured, she sees things differently. “Trauma did not build me. It broke me. It stole parts of me, left scars no one can see, & made me grieve versions of myself that I can never fully get back. The strength people admire was never born from the pain. It came from me,” she wrote.
Concluding her message, the actress said that true strength lies in repeatedly choosing to heal despite continuing to carry emotional pain. She suggested that the strongest people are not those who never break, but those who keep finding the courage to rebuild themselves even while they are still hurting.
