UPTTA to host 1st National Ranking Table Tennis Tournament at TSH, Kanpur

The Uttar Pradesh Table Tennis Association (UPTTA) has been entrusted with the responsibility of hosting the 1st National Ranking Table Tennis Tournament of the 2026-27 season by the Table Tennis Federation of India (TTFI).

The prestigious championship will be held at TSH, Kanpur, from August 16 to 23.

Around 4,000 players, including India’s top-ranked table tennis players, along with coaches, technical officials and tournament officials from across the country, are expected to participate in the event.

The tournament will be organised in a grand manner with world-class playing facilities and arrangements for players and officials. The fully air-conditioned TSH venue, measuring approximately 19,350 sq. ft., has been finalised for the championship said Sanjeev Pathak, Chairman, Organising Committee.
UPTTA is making every effort to ensure that the championship becomes a memorable sporting event and showcases the organisational capabilities and hospitality of Uttar Pradesh and Kanpur at the national level said Arun Kumar Banerjee, Hony. Secretary, UPTTA.

Meanwhile, Sanjeev Pathak, Chairman, Organising Committee, and UP Minister Asim Arun and Arun Kumar Banerjee met the Chief Minister of Uttar Pradesh, Yogi Adityanath, here on Thursday.

The committee invited the Chief Minister to inaugurate the 1st National Ranking Table Tennis Championships, to be held at TSH (Sports Hub), Kanpur.
