According to the report of Registrar General of India, Heart disease has now become the biggest cause of death, while respiratory infections i.e. respiratory infection and cancer are behind it. At the same time, suicide is the most prominent cause of death among youth between the ages of 15 to 29 years. Diseases like Non-Communicable Diseases (NCDs) i.e. heart disease, cancer, diabetes and stroke have become the biggest cause of deaths in India today. Their growing speed is the result of many social and lifestyle reasons. The first reason is unhealthy catering. Consuming oily food, junk food and more salt-shark is giving rise to diseases like heart and diabetes. The second reason is the lack of physical activity. Due to urban life, people are sitting more and are unable to exercise daily.
