And now, it seems the Nagarjua Akkineni co-produced film is turning out to be a hit at the box office. Lenin collected good numbers on its opening day. Surprisingly, the second day turned out to be even better for the Akhil Akkineni starrer. Lenin Box Office Report Day 2
According to early estimates shared by Sacnilk, Akhil Akkineni’s received a good response from the masses. On day 2, Lenin collected Rs 8.15 crore at the box office. The film ran in theatres with 57 per cent occupancy on Saturday (July 11). Interestingly, the numbers increased by Rs 1 crore as the film earned Rs 7.15 crore on opening day (July 10). The Telugu action film has seen 14 per cent growth on Saturday.
After two days, the film collected Rs 15.30 crore at the box office. The collections on Sunday are expected to increase due to the non-working day. As far as its worldwide collections are concerned, the film has grossed Rs 5.80 crore in two days. The total worldwide gross collection of Lenin is Rs 23.40 crore.
It looks like is all set to register his first clear hit at the box office after a long time. For the unversed, Lenin is reportedly made on a budget of Rs 100 crore.
Nagarjuna Akkineni’s Support To Akhil
Earlier, at the press conference of Lenin, supported his son Akhil and his film, Lenin. He requested fans and media not compare him with his father’s stardom. Nagarjuna said that Akhil has seen his own share of struggles in the past.
He had talked about Akhil’s past unsuccessful films and said there’s a pain of failure in him. The Telugu superstar mentioned that almost none of his son’s films worked. Because of the pain, he connected deeply with a story like Nenin. Nagarjuna further stated that he feels Lenin would work, which is why he decided to come on board as a co-producer.
