The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) has officially appointed Prince Yadav and Ravi Bishnoi as replacements for Harshit Rana and Varun Chakaravarthy, who are sidelined due to injuries.
Rana, who recently made his return to the national team after missing the T20 World Cup 2026 and IPL 2026 because of an injury, has unfortunately sustained a right hamstring injury during the third T20I against England. Similarly, Chakaravarthy experienced discomfort in his left hamstring during the same match. Both players will not participate in India’s upcoming white-ball series and will report to the BCCI Centre of Excellence for further assessment and recovery. Prince Yadav will step in for Rana in the ODI series against England, while Ravi Bishnoi will replace Chakaravarthy for the T20I series in Zimbabwe.
