No Dates for New Telugu Films: Preity Mukundhan

Preity Mukundhan’s career has taken a dramatic turn in just a few months.

While she made her Telugu debut opposite Manchu Vishnu in “Bhakta Kannappa,” the film did little to boost her career.

During its promotions, the spotlight largely remained on stars like Prabhas, Mohanlal, Akshay Kumar, and Kajal Aggarwal, leaving the newcomer with limited visibility.

Her fortunes changed with the release of the Tamil film “Blast,” which emerged as a surprise blockbuster.

The film’s success instantly increased her demand in the Tamil industry, leading to a flood of new offers.

Her latest Tamil release, “Idhayam Murali,” also arrived in theatres this weekend, further strengthening her presence in Kollywood.

With multiple Tamil commitments on hand, Preity is reportedly unable to accommodate new Telugu projects.

According to industry buzz, she has already declined a special role in Allu Arjun’s “Raaka” as well as an offer to star opposite Kiran Abbavaram in an upcoming film.

Sources say the actress is informing Telugu producers that her schedule is packed for the foreseeable future, making it difficult to take up any new Telugu assignments.
