Sidharth Malhotra’s next release, The Vvaan, is a fantasy thriller blending mythology, mystery, and forest folklore. Force of the Forest is the tagline. The film has generated good buzz and was initially scheduled to hit the big screens on August 28.
According to the latest update, the film will no longer arrive on the said date. Instead, it will grace cinemas on September 25, 2026. The makers unveiled a motion poster to announce the new release date. Recently, reports suggested that the makers had extended the shoot by a few days to strengthen some important moments in the film, including the finale.
It appears that the extended shoot schedule has resulted in the postponement. By delaying the film, Sidharth Malhotra has also avoided a clash with his wife Kiara Advani’s new film Toxic, which is set to release on August 26.
Tamannaah Bhatia plays the female lead in The Vvaan, while the film also stars Shweta Tiwari, Sunil Grover, Maniesh Paul, and Anup Soni in crucial roles. Deepak Kumar Mishra is the director. Ektaa Kapoor and Shobha Kapoor bankrolled it.
