After this, PM will visit Purnia in Bihar.

How much work was done at Purnia Airport?

District Magistrate Anshul Kumar and Superintendent of Police Sweety Sehrawat recently reviewed the progress of construction of the airport. During the inspection, it was found that the work of the main road is almost complete and the remaining part will be completed by 25 August. The construction of the boundary wall was also found satisfactory. Authorities have directed to complete the wall and dyeing-painting by 30 August.
Professional flight after 13 years

In 2012, services started here for some time, but were stopped due to incomplete facilities and low demand. A 2800 meter long runway and a modern terminal building of 4000 square meters are being built at Purnia Airport. About 46 crore rupees are being spent on this. The terminal building will be equipped with all modern facilities. Construction of the boundary wall and building is almost complete.
