The battle of the sexes

Kriti Sanon in ‘Cocktail 2’

Kriti Sanon recalled an unpleasant experience with an unnamed male co-star, claiming he decided how much she should be involved in a film’s promotions. Speaking to Lilly Singh, the actor said, “I found that so weird and almost disrespectful. I felt if you don’t need me for promotions, then you should promote the film alone.” Kriti revealed she initially stepped away from most promotional activities, but returned for one event at the director’s request, adding, “A lot of it, I just backed out.”

Waterlogging on set

Hunar Hali on the sets of ‘Rimjhim’

While   asked his fans to stay safe in the rains, television actor Hunar Hali has shared a glimpse of the less glamorous side of filming. In a behind-the scenes video from the sets of Rimjhim, Hunar is seen wading through waterlogged portions of the shoot location with her belongings, while the crew worked through ankle-deep water ensuring that they kept up with the scheduled telecast. The clip comes as the city has witnessed three days of heavy rain, prompting the India Meteorological Department to issue a red alert in parts of the city. “People see the glamour. They never see this walk to work,” she wrote. Even as it rains non-stop in the city, most film and TV serial shoots have been going on in Mumbai.
