New Delhi: Anshula Kapoor, sister of Arjun Kapoor and daughter of Boney Kapoor, is now married to his longtime beau, Rohan Thakkar. The couple tied the knot on Monday (July 6) in Mumbai in the presence of their close friends and family members.
The pictures and videos from their intimate wedding have gone viral on social media.
Anshula Kapoor and Rohan Thakkar are married
The couple took pheras in the presence of family members and close friends at Taj Lands End in Mumbai. The wedding was held according to Hindu customs and rituals.
In one of the videos, Anshula and Rohan are seen taking pheras while in the other, the newlyweds are seen smiling, laughing and sharing candid moments as they circled around the sacred fire.
Another video shows Anshula and Rohan officially registering their marriage.
For their special day, Anshula opted for a pink and peach bridal lehenga while Rohan looked royal in an ivory sherwani.
The wedding was attended by Arjun Kapoor, Boney Kapoor, Anil Kapoor, Janhvi Kapoor, and Khushi Kapoor, among others. A few reports also stated that Arjun Kapoor personally requested paparazzi not to crowd the venue as it was a family affair.
Boney Kapoor goes emotional
Ahead of the wedding, Boney Kapoor shared an emotional picture with his daughter Anshula Kapoor and wrote on Instagram, “New journey begins for my genius pretty daughter Anshula with Rohan, who are made for each other, will surely make this journey happy eternally.”

The wedding festivities began on June 21 with a Mata Ki Chowki hosted by Rohan Thakkar’s family. It was attended by Maheep Kapoor, Sanjay Kapoor, Shanaya Kapoor, Janhvi Kapoor, and Khushi Kapoor.
Meanwhile, the grand wedding reception will be held on Tuesday (July 7), which is expected to be attended by industry colleagues and friends.
The celebrations continued with a star-studded mehendi ceremony, which was attended by Sonam Kapoor, Rhea Kapoor, Harsh Varrdhan Kapoor, Shabana Azmi, and Karisma Kapoor. The mehendi was followed by chooda and kaleere ceremonies, which were planned and hosted by Janhvi Kapoor and Khushi Kapoor.
