According to the notice, Cape of Good Films LLP is the sole and exclusive holder of an irrevocable, worldwide, perpetual, and unrestricted licence to produce, distribute, market, commercialise, exploit, and otherwise deal with Hera Pheri 3. The rights extend across all existing and future platforms, technologies, formats, and media.
The notice also cautions individuals and organisations against entering into any agreement, negotiation, or transaction with any third party claiming rights over the film without prior written approval from Cape of Good Films LLP. It adds that anyone acting contrary to this advisory will do so at their own risk, while the company reserves all legal remedies available to protect its rights.

The development comes after a series of conflicting statements regarding the film. Earlier, original producer Firoz Nadiadwala had claimed that director Priyadarshan was not associated with the project. Priyadarshan later responded by saying he was not directing the film and even suggested that Hera Pheri 3 would never be made.
However, the latest public notice indicates that Akshay Kumar is moving ahead with the project under Cape of Good Films LLP. While no official announcement has been made regarding the director, there remains speculation that Priyadarshan could eventually come on board.
