Uttar Pradesh: To manage the increased passenger traffic travelling to Western India, particularly Gujarat, the Railways has extended the operations of several special trains.
As a part of this move, the Kanpur Central-Asarwa special train will now run until August 31, offering much-needed relief to commuters on this route.

In the return direction, Train 01906 Asarva-Kanpur Central Special will operate every Tuesday from July 14 to September 1, adding seven additional trips to ease the passenger rush.
Several Special Trains Extended
The Railways announced that extensions are not limited to the Kanpur-Asarwa route. The operational periods for several special trains across key routes, including Agra, Prayagraj, Subedarganj, Jhansi, Dadar, Bandra Terminus, Udhna, Gandhigram, and Valsad, have also been extended.
Officials stated that the decision was taken to accommodate increased passenger traffic during weekends and holidays, aiming to ease crowd pressure and help commuters get confirmed tickets more easily.
