Anshula Kapoor, the eldest daughter of Boney Kapoor, is tying the knot with her longtime beau Rohan Thakkar on July 6. The wedding ceremony will celebrate both Punjabi and Gujarati cultures.
The pre-wedding festivities kicked off with Mata Ki Chowki hosted by the Thakkars on June 21. As the countdown to the big day has begun, the Kapoors called for an intimate mehendi ceremony. On Saturday, both families reunited to participate in the festivities. Anshula’s sisters Janhvi Kapoor and Khushi Kapoor, along with her cousins Sonam Kapoor and Rhea Kapoor, were seen celebrating her union with Rohan.

shared a video on Instagram, showing her gorgeous mehendi outfit, which celebrated Rohan’s Gujarati roots. In the caption, she mentioned that Janhvi and Khushi planned the mehendi as a surprise. “I knew there was a celebration – I just had no idea what they had dreamt up. Watching it all unfold, surrounded by so much love, is a memory I’ll hold onto forever,” she wrote.
Sonam shared a video from the mehendi ceremony where Anshula’s minimalistic and intricate henna design stood out. Later, the bride-to-be shared multiple pictures and videos with her bridesmaids and guests on Instagram Stories.
Who is Anshula Kapoor’s to-be husband, Rohan Thakkar?
Rohan is a screenwriter. He has a bachelor’s degree in advertising and marketing. In 2013, he went to Los Angeles to complete an MFA in Screenwriting at the New York Film Academy. Thakkar started his career as a social media marketer and went on to work as an executive assistant at Next Level Entertainment Global. He is also known to be writing films like The Novelist (2016), Never Too Late (2016) and Nimbus (2018). Currently, Rohan is working with Karan Johar’s Dharmatic Productions.
