Mumbai Rains: Tree falls on Urvashi Dholakia’s son, Kshitij Dholakia’s car

Mumbai is facing heavy rainfall, which turned into a frightening incident for actor Kshitij Dholakia, the son of television actress Urvashi Dholakia. The Naagin 7 actor shared that a large tree had collapsed onto his parked car, which led to causing extensive damage.

He added that, fortunately, he was not inside the vehicle when the accident occurred.

Kshitij posted videos of the aftermath on Instagram, which showed the massive tree lying across his terribly damaged car. In another clip, the officials can be seen clearing the fallen tree from the vehicle as they carried out the rescue work continued at the spot.

Kshitij was seen talking in one of the videos, saying, “That’s the condition of my car right now. Luckily, no one has been hurt.”

He further expressed gratitude on Instagram, tagging the Mumbai Police, and wrote, “A scary reminder of how unpredictable life can be Grateful that I wasn’t in the car and everyone is safe Huge thanks to the police and fire brigade for their swift help. Forever grateful.”

He also opened up on the incident in another story, saying, “Something bigger was meant to happen but thankfully it passed. Grateful.”

The incident comes amid  . The rainfall has led to waterlogging and disruptions across the city. Mumbai witnessed severe waterlogging on Friday, July 3, following an intense overnight rainfall that flooded roads and slowed down commutes, including rail and roadways. According to BMC data, multiple locations recorded over 140 mm of rainfall. Meanwhile, the IMD has warned of more heavy showers and strong winds, issuing an orange Alert.

Who is Kshitij Dholakia?

Kshitij Dholakia is the son of Urvashi Dholakia. He made his acting debut with Ektaa Kapoor’s supernatural drama Naagin 7. He played a Naag and the companion of Bharani, played by Alice Kaushik, in the show.

Before stepping into acting, he previously worked in the film industry as an assistant director. He was reportedly part of the team on Sajid Khan’s Humshakals (2014) and later even worked on the 2019 film Dream Girl.
