Following actor Ravi Mohan’s manager filing a complaint at the Neelankarai police station over shocking incident of theft at his Injambakkam residence, police have arrested the accused in the case.
According to preliminary information, a diamond necklace worth Rs 10 lakh and Rs 40,000 worth of cash was stolen. Now the accused has confessed to the crime. It has to be noted that Ravi Mohan is living separately from his former partner Aarti Ravi and their children Aarav and Ayaan at a house in Chennai’s ECR.

As per Thanthi TV, the person who admitted to the crime is Ravi Mohan’s driver. He has confessed to stealing Rs 2.5 lakh from Ravi Mohan’s house. Police are also investigating if others have been involved in the crime. As per reports three individuals were not allowed to leave the house. Police officials reportedly stepped in and informed those involved that it is illegal to detain or privately question any individual without following due legal process. The actor and his team haven’t released a statement regarding the same.
Ravi Mohan’s Personal and Professional Life
Ravi Mohan has remained in the spotlight in recent months due to his personal life. In September 2024, the actor confirmed his separation from wife Aarti Ravi after months of speculation. The couple, who married in 2009, have two sons, Aarav and Ayaan. In May 2025, Ravi made his first public appearance alongside healer and singer Keneeshaa Francis at a wedding, drawing attention. During the same month, he levelled allegations of domestic abuse against Aarti. In May 2026, after Keneeshaa’s social media posts fuelled speculation about their relationship, Ravi addressed the media in an emotional press conference. Holding back tears, he said he would not resume work until his divorce proceedings with Aarti were concluded.

Amid this, Ravi Mohan recently visited the renowned Sabarimala Ayyappa Temple in Kerala with the photos, Ravi posted a heartfelt note expressing gratitude to everyone who has stood by him during challenging times. Reflecting on his journey, he wrote, “Getting stronger every day. I thank each and every one for showering unconditional love towards me. It is your hope that makes me want to give back love, respect and everything positive.”
On the professional front, Ravi is set to appear in director Bakkiyaraj Kannan’s Benz, starring Raghava Lawrence in the lead, which is part of Lokesh Kanagaraj’s LCU.
