In the current market, affordable cars are offering more value for the buck than ever before. During the 2000s or even the 2010s, hatchbacks offered only the bare necessities like air conditioning, but things have changed. Modern hatchbacks are offering features that put expensive European SUVs to shame.
Best Car Under Rs 10 Lakh – 360-degree Camera Under Rs 9 lakh

The Skoda Kushaq has been a fan-favourite amongst enthusiasts for its driving pleasure. However, features have never been its strong point. However, Skoda tried changing that with the facelift. To make matters interesting, it equipped the Kushaq with a feature that is available only on high-end luxury cars – rear massaging seats. Even its bigger sibling, the Kodiaq, only offers massaging seats at the front. Nonetheless, Skoda forgot about one key feature that has become a necessity – a 360-degree camera. (You have to pay upwards of Rs 30,000 to get it as an accessory.)
This is particularly surprising as the Tiago gets it. The second-to-top Creative variant comes equipped with a 360-degree camera. Keep in mind that this car costs no more than Rs 10 lakh. In fact, you can get this feature for as low as 8.24 lakh (on-road, Mumbai).
What Else?

Furthermore, the Tiago offers a larger 10.25-inch infotainment screen, dual wireless chargers, a 65W USB-C charger at the rear, and a blind-view monitor. All in all, its feature list is nearly identical to that of an SUV costing almost Rs 12 lakh more. Powered front seats, rear massaging seats, ventilated front seats, and a panoramic sunroof are the only features that the Kushaq has over the Tiago.
But the Kushaq also has obvious advantages over the Tiago, including better cabin and boot space, significantly better performance, superior build quality, and the Skoda badge. The Skoda is a superb product, but the Tiago’s features list is just an indication of how far Indian hatchbacks have come.
