KSBKBT 2: Sohil Singh Jhuti On Nandini Killing Parth; Says ‘If Anyone Is Like Him, It Needs To Be…’ – EXCL

When Sohil Singh Jhuti entered Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi 2, the actor won everyone’s hearts with his portrayal of Parth. He started as a sweet and loving young boy but soon went into a dark zone. Audiences were shocked by the grey shades of Sohil’s character, which met with a tragic end in KSBKBT 2. Gauri Pradhan, who plays Nandini, killed Sohil’s Parth after he tried to shoot his wife, Vaishnavi. After he wrapped up the Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi 2 journey, Zoom/TellyTalk exclusively interacted with Sohil. Here’s what he had to say about his epic last scene in the Star Plus serial.

Speaking exclusively to us, Sohil admitted that he was ‘blown away’ by the plot twist. “I was like, ‘Oh God, if this is going to happen, people are going to go crazy’. And that’s what (reaction) I am getting right now, they are loving it,” he said. The actor added that the show, in general, has got good response along with his character.

Talking about his character’s tragic end, the actor expressed, “To be honest, if anyone is like Parth, it needs to be ended like that. I was more excited to be at that spot and recreate those things. I knew it was going to be epic. Kudos to the team, the whole crew and our director, who seamlessly recreated that. It was a beautiful experience.”

For the unversed,   after she saw that he attempted to kill his wife Vaishnavi. In that particular Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi 2 episode, Nandini questioned her son on how he dared to touch his partner without consent. To this, Parth told his mother that being Vaishnavi’s husband, he can do whatever he wishes to.

Continuing the conversation, Sohil reflected on his character’s transition in the show. The actor said, “When I entered, Parth was a very sweet guy. The whole point of Parth coming back was to give back the property and to bring the family together. He was a loving kid. But later on, people understood that he wanted the property.”

Although the transition was difficult for him, the actor feels one has to blend in with everything. Revealing why it was tough, Sohil signed off by saying, “Because for so many months, you are playing a sweet guy and then suddenly, you need to switch gears and just go into that zone. I really enjoyed playing this character.”
