Where can you test the new Zero XB and XE? Freeracing is bringing the X Line to off-road training events

Riders interested in trying Zero Motorcycles’ latest electric off-road models now have a new opportunity in Italy. Through a technical partnership with Freeracing, the Zero XB and Zero XE will be available during off-road training courses and dedicated riding events, giving participants the chance to experience the X Line in real-world conditions before making a buying decision.

The collaboration brings together one of the world’s leading electric motorcycle manufacturers and one of Italy’s best-known off-road riding schools, founded by  legend Oscar Polli.

A hands-on way to experience electric off-road riding

Rather than static displays, participants will ride the Zero XB and Zero XE across different types of terrain as part of Freeracing’s training activities.

The aim is to demonstrate how instant torque delivery, the absence of a clutch and advanced electronic power management influence off-road riding, allowing riders to focus on line selection, traction and bike control.

For many participants, it will also be an opportunity to compare electric motorcycles with traditional combustion-powered machines.

Training courses and events will feature the X Line

The electric motorcycles will be integrated into motocross and enduro schools as well as several Freeracing events throughout the season.

Test rides will take place at Ottobiano and Santhià, while larger events such as Tuscany Maxi Enduro and off-road experiences in Sardinia and Puglia will also include opportunities to ride the Zero X Line.

Oscar Polli adds world-class off-road expertise

Freeracing was founded by Oscar Polli, the 2008 Rally Raid World Champion and Africa Eco Race winner, who has spent more than 25 years developing off-road riding techniques and training programmes.

His experience makes the school an ideal environment for introducing riders to the characteristics of electric off-road motorcycles.

Helping riders discover electric technology

Zero Motorcycles sees the partnership as more than a marketing initiative. By allowing riders to experience its electric technology in realistic riding conditions, the company hopes to demonstrate the advantages of instant torque, simplified controls and precise power delivery.

As electric motorcycles continue expanding into the off-road segment, initiatives like this could help accelerate acceptance among riders who have yet to experience the technology firsthand.

Instead of asking riders to trust specifications on paper, Zero Motorcycles is letting them experience the X Line where it matters most: on dirt, trails and technical terrain. That practical approach may prove to be one of the most effective ways to showcase what modern electric off-road motorcycles are capable of.
