A sensational incident has come to light in Hardoi, Uttar Pradesh. Here in Barnai village of Harpalpur, an elderly farmer who was guarding the crops in his field was brutally murdered. The farmer’s face was crushed. The police have taken the body into custody. A police officer said that post-mortem of the body would be conducted. The incident created a stir in the village.
The incident took place in Barnai village of Hardoi. 65 year old Shyamu alias Kallu used to grow potatoes etc. by taking the field of Kamlesh Chandra Mishra of Rathore village on share-cropping. Shyamu used to guard the crops by setting up a hut in the field itself.
Blood soaked body found in hut
On Saturday morning, when his friend Kallu Yadav reached the farm to give tea to Shyamu, who was sleeping in the hut, he saw that Shyamu’s blood-soaked body was lying on the cot. His face was badly bruised. There was a wooden peg lying nearby, which was stained with blood. It is suspected that the accused had hit her several times on her face with a peg.
The matter was informed to the local Kotwali police. Area officer Anuj Mishra and Additional Superintendent of Police Martand Prakash Singh reached the spot and investigated the matter closely. The forensic team reached the spot and took samples. The deceased farmer has three sons and one daughter. Son works as a laborer living in Panipat, Haryana.
