A surprising case has come to light from Kaushambi district of Uttar Pradesh. Here four minor girls who had gone to pluck gram from the fields have gone missing. When the girls did not return home, the family searched for them in and around the farm for a long time, but could not find the girls. The victim’s family has lodged a complaint about the girls’ disappearance with the police. Police have started searching for all the girls who have filed missing complaint.
Four minor girls, who had gone to pluck gram greens from the fields of the town under West Sharira police station area of Kaushambi district, went missing under suspicious circumstances on Thursday. The girls had gone to the fields to pluck gram greens, but did not return home. The victim’s family tried hard to find the girls. After the girls were not found, the family lodged a missing complaint with the police.

Police have formed five teams to search for the girls. Area Officer Kaushambi Abhishek Singh said that on Thursday afternoon, a resident of a village and four girls living in the neighborhood had gone outside the village to pluck gram greens in the field, all the girls have gone missing. It is being told that the age of all the missing girls is between 15 to 16 years.

The area officer said that when all four did not return home till late evening, their family members started searching for them and when they could not find them anywhere, they informed the police. Late night, the police have registered a case under section 87 of BNS (Indian Judicial Code) and started searching for all the girls. The area officer said that five teams have been formed to search for the missing girls and efforts are being made to locate them.
