Chief Minister Nitish Kumar reached his native village Kalyan Bigha on the occasion of the death anniversary of his father, immortal freedom fighter Kaviraj Ramlakhan Singh. Here he paid emotional tribute to his father by garlanding his father’s statue at Kaviraj Ramlakhan Singh Smriti Vatika. During this time, Chief Minister Nitish Kumar also paid tribute to his mother Shri Parameshwari Devi and his wife Manju Sinha by garlanding them.
On this occasion, Chief Minister’s elder brother Satish Kumar and other family members and close relatives of the Chief Minister also paid their respects by garlanding the statues of immortal freedom fighters Kaviraj Ramlakhan Singh, Parameshwari Devi and Manju Sinha. Worship on the death anniversary of Nitish’s father
On the death anniversary, prayers were offered at the Bhagwati temple (devi place) of the Chief Minister’s native village Kalyan Bigha. The people of Kalyan Bigha and the surrounding areas looked extremely happy to find the Chief Minister among them. The Chief Minister met the local people to inquire about their well-being and accepted their greetings.
