A strange incident was seen during a wedding in Muzaffarpur, Bihar. Here the groom gave a gift to his bride. The bride’s father got angry after seeing the gift. He broke the marriage and tied up the wedding guests. After 4 days, the police again freed the wedding guests. After this the bride herself said that she wants to marry this groom. Then what happened, the groom went away with his bride.
The matter is of Rajapakad village of Bariapur police station area. On November 18, the marriage procession of Pramod Mahato’s son Kalu Kumar from Pirapur village had reached Rajapakad village of Bariyarpur police station area for the marriage of Munna Mahato’s daughter Manita Kumari. The bride’s father again broke the marriage.
Information given to police on 21st November
After that, they kept the groom, groom’s father and brother hostage while demanding the amount for the wedding expenses. Even after the social panchayat, the people from the bride’s side continued to refuse to agree. On the night of 21 November, the groom’s side informed the Bariyarpur police about the incident. The groom’s side also gave an application to the police, in which it was told that he had come with a wedding procession to marry Manita Kumari in Rajapakad village. The bride’s side refused to marry. The groom, father and brother were taken hostage by demanding Rs 2 lakh. He has been kept hostage in the house for four days.

Bariyarpur police then freed the four people held hostage. After that the bride was asked whether she was ready for this marriage. The bride said- I want to marry him only. Just what then. The bride’s father also had to agree with his daughter. Then this marriage was solemnized. After the marriage the bride has been sent to her in-laws’ house.
