Lock Upp Season 2 Episode 5 Recap

The latest episode began with an emotional conversation about the LGBTQ+ community and the challenges many people face while coming out to their families. Sufi Motiwala opened up about telling his parents about his sexuality. In a surprising moment, Varun Yadav, aka Laila, tried to understand Sufi’s point of view and shared his own thoughts.

Sufi also recalled a conversation with his grandmother. He said she once asked him to try being bisexual, hoping that if he liked even one girl, life would become easier for the family.

Harshad Chopra also revisited his earlier statement about feeling scared around gay people. He clarified that he takes time to open up but admitted his first reaction is often fear. Dheeraj Dhoopar, meanwhile, said he has several gay friends and has always been comfortable around them.

The mood later shifted as Shreya Kalra and Pamela Serena got into an argument over whom they would save if given a chance. Sufi stepped in and sided with Pamela, asking Shreya to stop expecting people to save her just because they were friends.

  • Sunita Ahuja chose Madhuri Grover.
  • Yogesh Rawat chose Shreshtha Iyer.
  • Akanksha Chamola chose Riyaz.

After losing the task, Shreya had a heated argument with Dheeraj Dhoopar. She called the safe contestants ‘fattu’ and ‘losers’, which angered Dheeraj. The fight escalated with both sides exchanging personal remarks.

Later, several inmates criticised Shreya’s behaviour. Ram Kapoor claimed she had tried to provoke him on the very first day but failed. He said she enjoys creating chaos and succeeded in getting a reaction from Dheeraj.

Shivangi Joshi said she believes Yogesh Rawat and Akanksha Chamola can also go to any extent during arguments. However, Akanksha Chamola defended the duo. Harshad Chopra later spoke to Akanksha and Yogesh. He revealed why the cheating issue affects him personally and said he had believed in their bond.
