Lock Upp Sach Ya Sazaa: The drama inside Netflix’s hit reality series Lock Upp Sach Ya Sazaa is intensifying. In a newly released promo, Bollywood actress Kangana Ranaut makes her first explosive appearance of the season as ‘Janta Ki Awaaz’ (the voice of the public).
Joining main hosts Farah Khan and Riteish Deshmukh, Kangana Raaut wasted no time in targeting popular television actor Ram Kapoor. She strongly criticised his lazy performance and questioned whether he believed he was simply too famous for the show.

During the intense confrontation, which is set to air in full on Saturday, July 4, 2026, Kangana Ranaut openly challenged the actor Ram Kapoor’s commitment to the reality series. She suggested that he was failing to take the competition seriously and was merely coasting through his time inside the jail.
Addressing him directly in front of the other contestants, the Fashion actress said, “Ram, game ko seriously nahi lena tha, aur agar lagta hain ki you are too big for this jail toh aap aayein ho kyu? Apni ye fuhadpan dikhane ke liye (If you do not want to take this show seriously then why bother to come? Just to act cheap)?”
Defending his slow approach to the game, Ram Kapoor calmly responded, “When the right time comes, I will own my truth as well and as better than anybody here.” However, Kangana quickly shut down his explanation, firing back with, “Don’t defend yourself if you want to improve.”

Ram Kapoor has been a highly controversial figure inside the Lock Upp house since the season premiere. Before Kangana Ranaut’s arrival, host Farah Khan had already called him out for playing too safe and avoiding arguments to protect his public image.
The Bade Achhe Lagte Hain actor also shocked viewers during an argument with co-contestant Akanksha Chamola by openly defending cheating in a marriage, stating that infidelity is not a deal-breaker.
Ram Kapoor said, “If you really love your partner, nothing is a dealbreaker. Marriage is hard and it’s a journey. You have to work at your marriage every day. There are highs and lows, good periods and bad periods, strong phases and weak phases. In a bad phase, if by mistake something happens, and you can’t live without your partner or your children, then time heals everything and nothing is a dealbreaker.”
Furthermore, the actor faced heavy internet backlash after he forcibly kissed fellow contestant Varun Yadav in a recent episode, leaving viewers deeply uncomfortable.
Lock Upp Season 2 First Elimination
As the first elimination episode approaches this weekend, some contestants have already managed to secure their safety. However, five contestants remain in serious danger of being thrown out of the house. Shreya Kalra, Sufi Motiwala, Shrestha Iyer, Madhuri Grover, and Akanksha Chamola are all facing the public vote.
Lock Upp: Sach Ya Sazaa features 15 internet and television celebrities competing in a high-pressure jail environment, with new episodes streaming on Netflix every Saturday to Wednesday at 8 pm.
