Supriya said, while returning after campaigning, senior NCP (Sharad Chandra Pawar) leader Anil Deshmukh was attacked by some anti-social elements. This is a very unfortunate and disturbing incident. Law and order situation worsens under BJP rule
There has never been such a mentality of attacking during elections in the state. Maharashtra is a democratic state. But, under the BJP rule, the law and order situation in our state, especially in Nagpur, has deteriorated. Gangsters have got a free hand. Our demand is that there should be a thorough investigation into this incident. The person who attacked Deshmukh Saheb and his mastermind should be punished.
