Big negligence in DMCH! Cloth left in woman’s stomach during operation, now undergoing treatment

Big negligence of the doctors of Darbhanga Medical College has come to light where during the delivery of a woman through operation, the doctors left a cloth in her stomach. Due to leaving the clothes, the woman was constantly having stomach pain and her wound was also not drying up. For this reason he consulted a local private doctor. Cloth has been removed from the woman’s stomach in a private hospital. Her husband has complained about this to the DMC superintendent.

According to the information, this entire matter pertains to the Medical College of Darbhanga. Where on October 8, Shivam Thakur, resident of Brahmapur West village of Jale police station area, had admitted his wife Anjala Kumari in the gynecology department of DMCH. After the operation, their son was born. Anjala was discharged from there on 14 October. However, he continued to have pain at the operation site and his wound was not drying up.

Cloth left in stomach during operation

When she reached home, her pain was continuously increasing. After which Shivam took his wife to a local private doctor. When examined after seeing the doctor, Tretra, i.e. a cloth used to clean blood during the operation, was left at the site of the operation. The cloth was taken out from there. After this, Anjala’s family complained about the entire matter to the Superintendent of DMCH.

What did the DMCH superintendent say?

DMCH Superintendent Dr. Alka Jha said that as soon as this matter came to her notice, she immediately called the patient from home. They sent an ambulance and called Anjala to the hospital where she is being examined. Giving a statement, he said that his priority is that the patient should be completely healthy in any situation. He told that pus is coming from the wound. She herself is monitoring this matter. She has also met patient Anjala. On the issue of the cloth being left behind, he said that how the cloth was left behind is a matter of investigation and it will be investigated.
