In Badaun, Uttar Pradesh, a lover arrived to meet his married girlfriend at midnight. But by mistake he went and lay down on the cot of his girlfriend’s sister-in-law. He thought that she was his girlfriend. Then as soon as he started molesting her, her sister-in-law raised an alarm. Hearing the noise, everyone in the family woke up. They beat the young man badly. At that time he ran away from there. But after 6 days he ran away with his married girlfriend. The victim’s family has lodged a report regarding this in the police station. But also accused the police of negligence.
The family alleged that the youth had also tried to kill their elder son, with whose wife he was having an affair. Even then he went to the police station and lodged a report. But the police did not take any action. Even now they have registered only a case of minor molestation. Whereas, the young man has run away with his daughter-in-law.
In this matter, the police station chief says that on the basis of the complaint, a report has been registered and investigation has been started. They have not received any other complaint. If a complaint is received, action will be taken after investigation.

The matter is of Ughaiti police station area. The family said- The young man living here had a love affair with our elder daughter-in-law for the last two years. He came to our house several times at night to meet her and was also caught. But the police did not take any action even once, which boosted his morale. On the night of November 5, around 1.30 pm, the young man again reached the house through the terrace to meet our daughter-in-law. But by mistake he reached our younger daughter-in-law’s cot. When he started flirting with her in the dark, she woke up and raised an alarm. The family members woke up. During this time the young man took the opportunity and ran away.
Married woman’s husband’s allegation
The married woman’s husband alleges that he lodged a complaint with the police but no action was taken. Said- On Friday, the accused also tried to kill me by hitting me with a pickup vehicle. I told the police about this also. Still no action was taken. Now he has run away with my wife. Seeing himself surrounded, the police registered a report under the section of molestation but the report of attempt to kill and running away with the woman has not been registered.
Police Station Head Rajesh Kausish said- We are investigating the matter thoroughly. As per the complaint given, FIR has also been registered. We are searching for the accused. Investigation is ongoing in the matter.
