Now in this case the police has arrested the accused Faizan Khan in the morning.
Maharashtra Police has arrested the accused from Chhattisgarh, Raipur. Accused Faizan will be presented in Raipur court today, Tuesday. Maharashtra Police had issued a notice in the name of accused Faizan Khan last week. Mumbai Police had interrogated Faizan for two hours for the first time. During interrogation, Faizan had given clarification that the number in his name was used to threaten the death of Shahrukh Khan with a ransom of Rs 50 lakh. That mobile was lost 5 days before the threat call.
Police will demand to be taken into remand
Faizan had further told that he also reported the loss of mobile at Khamardih police station of Raipur. A notice was given to Faizan Khan by the Mumbai Police, after which he was called to Pandari police station for questioning this morning, but when Faizan did not arrive for questioning on the notice, he was detained from his house. According to the information, now the police will try to take him on remand by presenting him in Raipur court.
Threatened to kill on November 5
On November 5, through a call, three death threats were made to Bollywood king Shahrukh. It was said on the threat call that if Shahrukh Khan did not give Rs 50 lakh, he would be killed. Apart from this, when the caller was asked about his identity, he asked him to write his name as Hindustani. After this the police traced the call and started investigation.
