Coolie earned a massive amount over the Independence Day weekend. The film stars Rajinikanth, Nagarjuna, Shruti Haasan, Aamir Khan, and Pooja Hegde.
Aamir Khan’s cameo appearance also drew audiences to the theatres. The film is ruling both the box office and the hearts of fans, with large crowds gathering at ticket windows. Directed by Lokesh Kanagaraj, Coolie continues to break new records every day. So far, the film has collected Rs 400 crore worldwide and Rs 200 crore in India. It has also created a major buzz in North America.
Rajinikanth’s film Coolie has created a stir at the North American box office, earning $6.22 million in just five days. With this achievement, Coolie has become the biggest Indian film in the region for the year 2025, beating Saiyaara, Chhaava and War 2.
Starring Vicky Kaushal, Rashmika Mandanna, and Akshaye Khanna, Chhaava earned $6.4 million during its entire run. Interestingly, Coolie earned over $3 million from its premiere shows alone.
The movie has already outpaced blockbuster hits like Saiyaara, Chhaava, War 2, Empuran, etc, to become the biggest Indian grosser of 2025.
However, the word of mouth hasn’t been very strong, which is why daily collections are seeing a decline. All eyes are now on the upcoming weekend to see how much the film can earn.
