Akanksha Chamola announced on Lock Upp that she and Gaurav Khanna are heading for divorce. Since then, the spotlight has been shifted on their estranged relationship.
An old interview of Akanksha is now doing rounds on social media in which she called Khanna a ‘red forest’.
During the inyterview, Akanksha was asked if she considered Gaurav Khanna a ‘green flag’. Laughing, she quipped, “Gaurav is a very good actor.” She further pointed out that asking a wife such a question wasn’t entirely fair.
Akanksha noted that wives are naturally poised to notice their husbands’ daily shortcomings rather than focus solely on their strengths. What was seen then as nothing more than fun, marital teasing took an even more amusing turn when the conversation shifted to Gaurav’s potential ‘red flags’. Rather than listing a single flaw, Akanksha joked, “I’d call him a red forest.”
Akanksha Chamola announces divorce from Gaurav Khanna
Akansha made a major revelation in the very first episode of Lock Upp Season 2. She disclosed that she and Gaurav have decided to get a divorce. Farah was left stunned upon hearing this. Read on to find out what Akansha said.
Akanksha said, “Gaurav Khanna and I are getting a divorce. We have been living apart for the past year. People are not aware of this yet.” Akanksha added, “This is a decision taken by both of us. We have been discussing this for the last year.”
Akanksha stated clearly, “Things aren’t bad between Gaurav and me. We still talk to each other, but we feel that we aren’t right for one another as partners. This is because we both want different things in life.”
Akanksha said, “This has been going on since the time of Bigg Boss 19. Gaurav’s parents and mine suggested that we try staying apart for a while to see how things go. After all, you often realize each other’s importance when you are apart. Everyone assumed that since we were talking, appearing together on social media, and supporting each other at events, we would eventually get back together. But we just aren’t getting that ‘couple’ feeling.”
