Gautam Gambhir: Team India has a tough test this year against Australia and South Africa but before that, Gautam Gambhir may have to face difficulties. BCCI has announced the team for both the tours in which three players will not be a part of this series.
Mohammed Shami is not fit
Let us tell you that Mohammed Shami has not yet fully recovered from his injury due to which he has not been selected in the team. Shami will prove his fitness by playing Ranji, only after which he can be given a chance in the team. Let us tell you that Shami got injured after the World Cup last year, after which he has not played a single match. During this period, he has missed big events like IPL and T20 World Cup.
Kuldeep Yadav out due to injury
Kuldeep Yadav is also not a part of the Border Gavaskar series due to injury. Kuldeep Yadav has an injury in his left groin due to which he did not play in the second match of the New Zealand series. And now he is out of this big series. While Akshar Patel has been dropped from the team. Akshar was on the bench for some time and was not getting a chance to play in the playing eleven. After which he was dropped from this series.
Some players have been ruled out of the T20 series against South Africa due to injury. Riyan Parag, Shivam Dubey and Mayank Yadav are not in the team due to injury. Ryan has an injury in his right groin due to which he has not been able to make a place in the team. Whereas Shivam Dubey and Mayank Yadav are also injured, information about which has been given by BCCI itself.
