Not only the fans of other countries, but even his own fans are not sparing star batsman Babar Azam, who is out of Pakistan’s Test team due to poor performance. Despite being dropped from the entire series after the first Test match against England, many Pakistani fans still have resentment towards Babar, a view of which was seen during the Rawalpindi Test match. On the first day of the test match between Pakistan and England, some fans present in the stadium raised slogans teasing Babar Azam, even though he is not even a part of the match. Its video is going viral on social media.
Zimbabwean slogans raised during the match
The third and last match of the Test series started from Thursday 24 October at Pindi Cricket Stadium. On the first day of the match, the England team started batting. Pakistan’s spinners were wreaking havoc in this match and were taking wickets of England. Meanwhile, some fans present in the stand started raising slogans teasing Babar Azam to make fun of him. A video is going viral on social media platforms, in which voices of some fans can be heard. These spectators are raising slogans of ‘Zimbabar-Zimbabar’.

In fact, this word has often been used on social media to tease Babar Azam. This is because many fans allege that Babar scores runs only against small teams including Zimbabwe. It is also said that whenever a big team is in front or there is a big tournament like World Cup where Pakistan needs him, Babar does not score runs. Due to this, the common fans who criticize him on social media raise questions on Babar with this name.
How is the condition of Pakistan?
Babar is currently away from the team with his family. He is expected to return for the ODI series against Australia from next month. As far as the Rawalpindi Test match is concerned, the Pakistani team looked in a strong position in the beginning on the first day but by the end of the day, it itself was in trouble. The spin duo of Sajid Khan and Noman Ali once again showed their magic and bowled out England for just 267 runs, but by the end of the day, Pakistan itself had lost 3 wickets while only 73 runs were added to its score.
