Delhi baby kidnapping: The 3 -month -old newborn baby was kidnapped in a mysterious way in Delhi on August 19. The woman, a resident of Chennai, came by Delhi train to meet relatives with her child, when one of the accused interacted for two hours and won her trust. The kidnapped child from Anand Parvat area was safely recovered by the police in 18 hours and safely recovered.
How did the kidnapping happen-did the woman recognize in time?
The woman was traveling train with her newborn. During the visit, the accused won his confidence and proposed help. On reaching Anand Parvat, the accused sent the woman to a clothes shop and escaped with the child.

How did Delhi Police address the child in 18 hours?
Anand Parvat police immediately filed a complaint. The accused was identified using about 100 CCTV footage and using AI based facial recognition system (FRS). The police tracked the accused to Khetri village in Rajasthan and recovered the child safely.

During interrogation, 32 -year -old Jitendra Kumar said that he had persuaded a relative who had no boy to kidnap by luring financial help. This scheme became a threat to the life of an innocent child.
