Prabhas-starrer Fauji appears to be heading for another change in its release plans.
While the film was initially considered for a Dasara release, delays in production led to speculation that it would eventually arrive only in the summer of 2027.
However, the latest buzz in trade circles suggests that the makers are now targeting the first week of December.
According to distributor sources, Mythri Movie Makers has indicated that the film could release on December 4, with premiere shows planned a day earlier on December 3.
That said, the release date is far from official. Director Hanu Raghavapudi is yet to complete a significant portion of the shoot, and the December plan will depend entirely on how quickly the remaining production work is wrapped up.
Prabhas is currently occupied with Spirit, and Fauji can move ahead only if Hanu Raghavapudi presents a concrete schedule to complete the pending portions within the next few months.
If the team manages to accelerate production, a December 4 release could become a reality. Otherwise, the film may once again be pushed to 2027.
