With films such as Zombie Reddy, HanuMan and Mirai, the young actor has established a strong market for himself and emerged as one of the most promising actors of his generation.
Unlike many of his contemporaries, Teja is not in a hurry to sign multiple projects. Instead, he has adopted a cautious and selective approach to his career.
To maintain his success rate, he appears to be focusing on proven franchises rather than venturing into experimental territory.
Currently, Teja is shooting for Zombie Reddy 2, the sequel to his 2021 hit Zombie Reddy.
The project is being directed by a newcomer, while the story and screenplay have reportedly been developed by Prasanth Varma.
The film’s shooting is progressing quietly in Hyderabad and is expected to be Teja’s next release.
At the same time, work is also underway on Jai HanuMan, the sequel to the blockbuster HanuMan. Directed by Prasanth Varma, the film features Rishab Shetty in a pivotal role as Lord Hanuman.
While Rishab Shetty is expected to carry the film’s main narrative and commercial weight, Teja Sajja will reprise his character from the first instalment and play an important role in the sequel.
With both Zombie Reddy 2 and Jai HanuMan progressing simultaneously, Teja Sajja seems focused on strengthening the franchises that helped shape his career.
If all goes as planned, these two sequels are likely to be his next releases.
