The first season of KBC came in the year 2000. Harshvardhan Navathe of Mumbai became the first millionaire. He had given correct answers to all the questions in just 21 minutes.

Now he shared his exciting journey up to the hot seat, first meeting with Amitabh Bachchan and giving the right answer to the question of ₹ 1 crore. In a special conversation, he described discipline, confidence and family as the real power of his success. Here is the major part of the interview with him:
How was your first conversation with Amitabh Bachchan?
To be honest, I was mesmerized. His aura is exceptional – full of psychosis, respectable and confident. I felt that I would get nervous, but the way he talked to me was exactly as if I have known him for years.
What was the preparation that helped you perform well in the game?
The ability to remain calm in a state of discipline, patience and pressure. KBC proves that knowledge and wisdom can really change your life.
What was the most difficult moment of the show for you?
Certainly a question of ₹ 1 crore. Even if the answer is known, the pressure of such a large amount shakes confidence. I had to stay, had to breathe deeply and trust myself. The same belief proved to be decisive for me.
Many people dream of meeting Amitabh Bachchan. How did you experience him beyond glamor?
His presence is magnetic, but the one who touched me the most was his humility. He asked me about my life, encouraged me in difficult times and praised that I am not guessing, but playing with knowledge. To be honest, I received a big reward than that of his praise.
When ₹ 1 crore flash on the screen, how did you feel at that time?
This was not just a matter of money – it was proof that preparations, peace and trust can take you far. ₹ 1 crore is a stop, but the real target is ₹ 7 crore. The audience will see that I will play with courage because the real victory for me is this journey.
What would you like to do the first thing after victory?
I would like to divide this happiness with my unit at Ukai Ukai, Gujarat. My family is also here. He always remained my support, and this victory is as much as him.
