However, on August 18, light to moderate rain alert has been issued in Western UP districts Meerut, Saharanpur, Bijnor, Muzaffarnagar, Ghaziabad and Bulandshahr. At the same time, drizzle is expected in districts like Varanasi, Prayagraj, Gorakhpur and Jaunpur of Eastern UP.
