Up first green hydrogen plant gorakhpur: Uttar Pradesh is now going to write a new chapter of clean energy revolution. Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath inaugurated the first Green Hydrogen Plant in Gorakhpur in Uttar Pradesh in Khanimpur village of Gorakhpur district.
What is green hydrogen and why future energy?
Green hydrogen is prepared by dividing the water into hydrogen and oxygen. Here the power renewable energy comes from sources, causing no use of fossil fuels. That is why it is called “Green”. This will not only reduce carbon emissions but will also reduce pollution diseases.

Will Uttar Pradesh become the hub of Green Energy?
Yogi Adityanath said that there are abundant water resources in the state and here has the full potential to become Green Hydrogen Production HUB. He referred to the previous successful initiatives such as LED Street Lights, causing a huge decrease in power consumption and carbon emissions.
Positive impact on environment and health
The Chief Minister warned that indiscriminate exploitation of nature, excessive use of chemicals and pesticides, and deforestation have increased climate change. As a result, diseases like irregular rainfall, cancer and liver disease are increasing. Adopting green energy and natural farming is the right step towards the permanent future.
Start of energy revolution in Gorakhpur
Describing the project as “game-corner”, MP Ravi Kishan said that this is the beginning of energy revolution in Gorakhpur. At the same time, MLA Pradeep Shukla described it as a big step towards making Uttar Pradesh a developed state by 2047. On this occasion, the Chief Minister also planted a plant of Rudraksha, which is a symbol of the state’s commitment to environmental protection.
