Virat’s big statement after series win
The biggest reason for this strong performance of Virat Kohli was his free mindset. According to Virat, he had not batted with such a free mindset in the last 2-3 years. Due to which he scored 2 centuries and 1 half-century in the 3-match series. Talking about his performance, Virat said, ‘The way I batted in this series is quite satisfactory for me. I had not felt such a free mindset in the last 2-3 years. When I bat like this, I am confident that I can change any situation in favor of the team.
The secret of hitting 12 sixes was also revealed
Kohli hit a total of 12 sixes in the series, apart from him no other player could touch the figure of 10 sixes in this series. Talking about this, Virat Kohli said, ‘When I play freely, I know that I can hit sixes. I just wanted to have a little fun because I was batting well, just wanted to take a little more risk. He described the Ranchi innings as his favorite because it took him to a zone he had been longing for for a long time.
He said, ‘I had not played any match since Australia. Just by coming on the field you realize when you start hitting the ball well. And also, what is your energy like that day. You feel completely confident in taking risks. So, Ranchi was very special to me because it opened me up in a way that I had not felt for a long time. I am grateful for the results of these three matches.
