Honda has just refreshed one of its most popular entry-level motorcycles in Europe, the CB125R, for the 2026 model year (MY26). While the bike’s mechanical setup stays exactly the same, Honda has added four brand-new colour options, which makes the motorcycle even more stylish and appealing, especially for young or first-time riders.
The CB125R is a 125cc street bike known for its sleek design, easy handling and premium components. It is a top choice for beginners because it offers the right mix of power, safety and comfort.
New Colours for 2026
The biggest update for MY26 is the introduction of four fresh colours- Mat Rock Gray, Mat Lucent Silver Metallic, Zefiro Blue Metallic and Mat Pearl Diaspro Red.
These shades give riders more ways to personalise their motorcycle while keeping the design modern and stylish. Honda says the CB125R has been one of the best-selling 125cc bikes in Europe through 2024 and 2025, and these new colours will help maintain that momentum.
Even though the new colours are the highlight, Honda hasn’t changed anything mechanically and that is actually good news. The CB125R already uses a proven and reliable setup for riders.
Engine and Performance
This bike is equipped with 124.9cc, DOHC, single-cylinder engine which produces 14.7 bhp at 10,000 rpm and 11.6 Nm of torque. It has a 6-speed transmission. This means the bike has enough power for city commuting and weekend rides, but is still extremely manageable.
Premium Hardware
Many small bikes skip premium features, but the CB125R stands out with 41mm Showa SFF-BP USD forks, radial-mounted 4-piston Nissin front brake caliper, 296mm front disc and 220mm rear disc and IMU-based ABS for better braking control. This combination gives new riders more confidence and stability on the road.
Size and Comfort
Honda CB125R has the seat height of 816 mm, kerb weight of 130 kg, turning radius of 2.3 metres and wheelbase of 1,345 mm. These numbers mean the bike is light, agile and easy to handle in crowded cities.

This motorcycle continues to offer a 5-inch TFT colour display, LED headlamp and tail lamp, electric start and 12V battery.
