Gaurav Khanna is one of the strongest contestants of Bigg Boss 19. The television actor won the ticket to finale task, becoming the first finalist of the Salman Khan-hosted show.
Ahead of Bigg Boss 19’s grand finale, a press conference was held inside the BB19 house. During the press conference, Gaurav asked about his wife, Akanksha Chamola’s decision to not have kids. Reacting to it, the Anupamaa star got emotional.

On Bigg Boss 19, Gaurav was asked, “Aapki wife ko kids nahi chahiye, kya vo bohot calculative move tha sympathy card khelne ka?” Reacting to this, the actor got emotional and said, “This is a very touchy…” He later mentioned, “I love my wife. Before Bigg Boss 19, the contestant had spoken about not embracing parenthood with his wife, Akanksha. In an interview with Siddharth Kannan, the Anupamaa star said, “I want to respect that decision. It’s been nine years since our marriage. She doesn’t want kids. I have to respect that decision. If a woman is not ready, then you should not force her. But yes, I love kids. She loves kids, but she has her reasons for not…because absolutely, a mother’s frame of mind is absolutely essential for the child. Ma, ma hoti hai yaar (A mother is a mother after all).”
For those unaware, Gaurav and Akanksha have been happily married since November 24, 2016. The couple had a three-day celebration in the actor’s hometown, Kanpur.
