Tata Motors reported 59,199 passenger vehicle sales in November 2025, rising from 47,117 units in November 2024. The numbers reflect a 26 per cent year-on-year (YoY) increase.
Tata’s domestic passenger-vehicle sales stood at 57,436 units, up from 47,063 units a year earlier.
Tata’s electric-vehicle business continued its momentum with 7,911 EVs sold during the month. This marks a 52.2 per cent YoY growth compared to the 5,202 units recorded in November last year. Tata’s EV lineup-including the Nexon EV, Punch EV, Tiago EV and Tigor EV-remained the primary contributor to this surge, reinforcing the brand’s leadership in the electric segment.

Exports saw a sharp increase as Tata shipped 1,763 units in November 2025, compared with just 54 units in the same month the previous year. This represents a gain of over 3,160 per cent YoY, making exports one of the strongest performing categories for Tata last month.
On the commercial-vehicle front, Tata Motors sold 35,539 units last month. Compared with the 27,636 units sold in November 2024, Tata’s commercial vehicles arm grew by 29 per cent YoY, backed by demand in cargo carriers, small commercial vehicles and heavy trucks.

Heavy trucks (HCV) clocked 10,181 units, up 34 per cent from 7,586 units a year ago. Lighter and medium-duty trucks (ILMCV) rose 35 per cent to 5,905 units. Passenger-carrier vehicles went up 11 per cent to 3,340 units, while small-cargo and pickup/SVC (SCV) sales reached 13,327 units, a 19 per cent increase.
Domestic CV dispatches totalled 32,753 units, marking a 25 per cent growth over the 26,183 units sold domestically in November 2024. On the export side, international CV shipments surged to 2,786 units, nearly double the 1,453 units from a year earlier – a 92 per cent jump.
Tata Motors enters the final month of the year with solid market momentum. Key new models scheduled for early 2026-including the next-generation petrol Harrier, next-generation petrol Safari and the production-spec Sierra-are expected to add further strength to the company’s domestic position. The rise in EV volumes also aligns with Tata’s broader strategy of expanding electric offerings across price segments.
