Mahant Digvijaynath Smriti Bhavan of Gorakhnath Temple today again witnessed the biggest test of humanity amidst the mild cold of the morning and the calm breeze spread in the temple premises. The people sitting in the public darshan on Saturday morning were holding on to the thread of hope that perhaps today they would find a solution to their pain. And when Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath reached the auditorium, the confidence on every face deepened that their problems would not go unheard.
CM’s big assurance regarding treatment of serious diseases
Most of the applications in Janata Darshan were from those people who wanted financial assistance for the treatment of themselves or their family members suffering from serious diseases. Chief Minister Yogi reiterated the same thing to everyone – get treatment in upgraded hospitals without any fear, the government will bear the entire cost of treatment.
He gave strict instructions to the officers that the estimate process related to the treatment of patients who need financial help should be completed expeditiously and sent to the government. The government will provide adequate assistance to every needy from the Chief Minister’s Discretionary Fund.

Listened to the problems of more than 200 people, assured of prompt response to every complaint
The Chief Minister, who reached Gorakhpur late on Friday night, met about 200 citizens in the Janata Darshan on Saturday morning. People sitting on the chairs installed in the temple premises, one by one reached the CM, expressed their views and came out hoping for relief from him.
While handing over all the application forms to the officials present on the spot, the Chief Minister said that every problem will be solved, no one needs to panic or get worried.
Strict instructions to officials: guarantee of sensitivity, promptness and solution
CM Yogi clearly said that the administration should listen to the problems of the people with full sensitivity and resolve them in a timely, quality and satisfactory manner.
He specifically instructed:
- Strict action should be taken immediately on any complaint of land grabbing or bullying.
- Family disputes should be resolved on priority by communication between both the parties.
- Eligible people deprived of government schemes should be provided immediate benefits.
- No needy person should be left short of money for treatment.
Women expressed their problems openly, CM gave assurance
Like every time, this time also the number of women in Janata Darshan was more. A daughter was asking for financial assistance for her mother’s treatment. The Chief Minister looked at him and said – Don’t worry, get the treatment done, the government will arrange the money. His words brought relief to many other faces.
