Young director Abhigyan Mukherjee’s new Bengali film ‘Anumaner Bhittite’ is on the floor. Currently being shot in several places around Kolkata, the film has veteran actress Lily Chakraborty as a food blogger, Amrita Chattopadhyay as a trained dancer and Sreelekha Mitra as an oncologist.
Now, the film has a few more additions, including Darshana Banik, who plays a child psychologist. The film also stars Rohaan Bhattacharjee, John Bhattacharya, versatile powerhouse Dolon Roy and acclaimed actor-director Abhijit Guha, who have stepped into pivotal senior roles.
Inspired by novelist Arka Jyoti Mitra’s hit 10th book, ‘Anumaner Bhittite’ explores cross-generational identity, self-independence and the silent inner battles individuals fight within modern society.
