MP Police Update: Forget 100 Number! Now dial 112 for all emergency services in Madhya Pradesh. Chief Minister Mohan Yadav introduced high-tech vehicles, integrated apps and real-time tracking-fast response, better public safety, just a call at a distance of a call.

Mp police emergency services: Big change in the police service of Madhya Pradesh. Now instead of Dial-100, you have to dial 112 numbers for emergency help. Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav flagged off the new Dial-112 vehicle from Kushabhau Thackeray Auditorium in Bhopal to the districts. The move is expected to improve public safety, emergency response and fast police service.

What is the new dial-112 system and how to work?

New vehicles include real-time location tracking, data analytics, and mobile app based feature. In urban areas, Scorpio N and Bolero vehicles will run in rural areas, so that the police will be able to reach the spot early. In the first phase, 1200 vehicles have been activated and soon it will be increased to 2000 vehicles. In the first batch 250 vehicles have been dispatched from Bhopal.

Dial-100 achievements: a look

From 1 November 2015, the Dial-100 service ensured the statewide police emergency response. A total of 8.99 crore calls have been received so far, out of which 2.07 crore calls were eligible.

  • Senior Citizen Assistance: 2,23,288 people
  • Help in road accident: 12,48,621 people
  • Search for missing children: 27,112 children
  • Prevent suicide attempt: 2,64,347 cases
